Mordechai Vannunu is the Daniel Ellsburg of Israel. He let the world know that Israel has nuclear weapons and served hard time, often in isolation. Now he has been released towards the end of his life and obviously he knows nothing new, probably nothing that can't be found in libraries or on the net, yet Israel continues to harrass and persecute him. Shamir is behind it all.
The secret is out and has been out for a long time. The whole world knows that far from being helpless and pitiful Israel is a strategic nuclear power. Save your sympathy for Israel's millions of Palestinian victims.
